Spring into Reading: Tasty Tuesday

Different forms of writing is a major part of the grade 2 curriculum. As a part of Tasty Tuesday the two's learned about recipe writing and how to put together a tasty dish. Pizza was in the menu and by golly was it good. All our little chef's did a fantastic job both creating the recipe and making our pizzas. The two's even had a chance to bring home their own recipe learned for their cook books at home. Have a look at what we made! 

Spring into Reading: Treasure Hunt Day

One of Mr. Lewis' favorites! Like Peter Pan and the lost boys, the two's were on the hunt for treasure. With a surprise visit and message from Cowboy Mike the Two's were granted a treasure map to use to find hidden treasure. Hidden all around the school grounds were bits of treasure only the Terrific Two's could find. With help from Cowboy Mike the Two's were on their way to hunt down the lost treasure of Sunway. Follow the two's on their quest and see what they discovered.

The 3rd Annual 2A Data Management Math Fair

I am proud to announce another successful Data Management Math Fair this year! The Terrific Two's prepared by collecting data and putting their graphing skills to the test. With visitors from grade 2 and 3, the Terrific Two's traded food tickets for tally marks and tokens. With their own booth's, the two's played host to other classes while displaying their Data Management skills learned so far this year. Check out some awesome pictures from the fair!
